Message-ID: <002501c72604$1240a6a0$2e01a8c0@myhome.westell.com> Hi gang, My P112 went together without a problem. I had a spare ATX P/S and used a test connector to make it alive. Everything was then assembled on my test bench with two 3.5" floppy drives. Power was turned on and my terminal emulator showed no response, but drive A was making familiar sounds! I had used a RS232 breakout box with a 3 wire connection. The probability is 0.50 of getting it right, so I reversed pins 2 and 3. It was retried with the same response! This is getting serious. It seems there was an errata sheet which I did not properly heed. After buzzing out the supplied adapter cable and repatching my breakout box, I was greeted with the proper boot up message!!! With that success under my belt, I ordered primary and secondary GIDE adapters, 1MB memory, ATX plate, and dual 128MB CF-IDE units from Terry. The received boards were populated and the system assembled on my work bench. Power was applied and the system came up as advertised! I now have a 1024KB banked system, RAM disk, and 128MB IDE drives. Life is good!!! Everyone loves horror stories, but I have none to tell. All those have contributed to the P112 project are to be commended for a truly professional effort.
